Pickerington North Softball Club Meeting Minutes

March 18^th, 2007

Secretary's Report: Kelly Sanders. Meeting minutes read and approved. For future reference, please limit emails to one per family. I will be absent for next meeting due to a travel soccer commitment. Motion to approve: Brown/Furlong

President: Lori Sanders. Overview of the new Ohio High School rules for sportsman like conduct, presented by Athletic director Mark Aprile. Pickerington decided to initate discussion one year earlier than what was required.

Treasurer's Report: Ken Furlong.Copies of budget available. See print out. Varsity Gold profits yielded $8,200. Clothing Sale yielded $100.00. Outback Steakhouse pending. $1700.00 collected with $200.00 estimated for expenses. Banner sales: 10 banners sold to date. Wings-n-things profit pending. Approved : Gamby/Widner

Coach's Report: Molly Feesler. Review of Meet the Team  Booklet of information. Policies and procedures. Discussed importance of field maintenance and amount of money needed to improve conditions and keep the fields playable. Destin updates: each player will receive a trip packet of info soon, with the game schedules etc. Varsity will play 5 games, with first game played on Sunday. Embassy Suites:Destin Miramar Beach, 570 Scenic Gulf Drive Destin 32550. 1-850-337-7000. Chaperones:Coach Feesler, Coach Henrich, Coach Furlong, Lori Sanders, Assistant Principal Peg Miller. Breakfast and lunch provided for players. Players will need money for evening meal and spending. Money needed for team fun day, which has yet to be decided on.

Old Business: Lori Sanders.All fund raisers reviewed and updated. May place a second order for clothing sale if needed. Softball Club makes $1.00-$1.50 of each item. Varsity Gold fundraiser is the clubs primary source of revenue.

Misc: Individual team meetings after meet the team. Activities include concession sign ups, grade rep sign ups, banquet committee sign ups. Approved: Petrini/McDaniel
